My Postgraduate Projects

Hello!, in this time i have to talk about my Postgraduate Project, I desire to took the Master in Cultural Heritage UC ( Pontifical Catholic University of Chile) and the Master of History at same place,with the purpose to learn about this topic, and before I wish to took the PhD in Cultural Heritage in Birmingham University or Leeds University at UK.

I hope to study on Campus, full time, because I think is the better way to learn, and allow to make research with all the university resources.

I’m interested in this field because the cultural heritage is an important and growing field of interest, at the last blog that anticipate this, ‘cause are a multidisciplinary career, linked by museums, communities, political work , social projects and everything more…

In the Master in Cultural Heritage , I pretend to carry out the Declaratory State to Historical Monument by the Liceo Isaura Dinator de Guzmán, for Santiago City, because is a project to take for four years ago( By  the finish of 2014), with the pursuit to keep the Social Memory of these place to the new generations of students. In the Master of History, I desire to develop a research about Graphic and Political Humor at Chile in the sixties, because in this time starts the ways to understand the facts on the seventies.

In the PhD, I wish to develop a Theoretical Discussion about the Tensions between the Cultural Governance and the Heritage in Chile, like a continuation to my actual Grade Research .

My Future

Hi everyone, Today I will talk about my future, I pretend to be a Scholar in Heritage Studies, I think is a way to share my futures knowledges about the Heritage Issues, the tensions between Heritages and Cultural Governances of the occidental nations, that be reflected in the inherent contradictions between the universal heritage discourses and local practical experiences, viewed in the dramatic increase of local demands of try to be respect their singularities under the Heritage Arc of meanings of cultural practices.

I hope to teach to students from my actual career or others to bind together about these problems, and to be and Freelance Researcher about this topics. I will like to travel around the world talking about this with other professor’s and students, and link to the communities like a mediator with the political authorities and the cultural world.

About the salary, I’m sure that I will obtain the fair salary to live with my partner and coming true these dreams that write in this entry.

This hopes will be sustained in the MA of Cultural Heritage, in PUC,  that pretend to study since the next year and after the PhD in Heritage on the States, with the purpose of develop my skills and Knowledge in the area.

I love to give a different meaning of my actual career with this way, and hope with all my heart to turning reality.

Children Of God Review

 

Hi!, Today i speak about the film Children Of God. I like the plot, the characters, and the timing of the movie. When I knew that is the first movie to talk about the LGBTQI issues in the Caribbean reality, i understod the great value inside it. The true life of many peoples that suffer violence by the fundamentalisms, behind the story makes me  love the characters in their singularity and relationships.

My favourite characters are Johnny and Lena, i think that both responds to opposing sides in the current society; Lena with their angst without answers by his husband, the preacher, that catalyze in anger and confusion against the LGBTQI, meanwhile his husband cover up their bisexuality. Johnny, is the main character, share with Lena the confusion and fear, but for another reasons, he needs to rediscover their essence in Eleuthera, their disposition to feel whole after this travel makes him afford to confront the homophobia before to a country in ways of change.

I like the way to capture a reality to the homophobia and the personal crysis to the characters to answer the question :- Who am I?-; the debate about the religious think in tolerance and love to their fellow, i didn’t like the development of the Lena’s plot, because i wished that had another end, with the Eleutheras Preacher and not with the husband.

My favourite scene was when Romeo ask for Johnny to trust in him, and float in the sea, i feel that moment was very deep in the characters developmet and in their subsequent acts.
